Notes from the trainer:

Really nice Mare. Would make a great driving horse. Possible riding horse too. She neck reins good, and also responds to plow reins. Accepts bit and bridle. Stands for saddle pad. She stands good being tied.  Great stall manners. Easy to handle/Lead. Quick Learner. .... ( SHE LOVES WATER). And getting her ears, and bridle path trimmed.

7/25: She has smooth gaits, and in working in the round pen she will make easy transitions to all gaits from walk to trot, trot to canter. She is not choppy or a speed demion. ( not a gaited horse either) She collects up good. Actually I think she might even work a lounge line too. Gypsy manuvers each direction easly and pick up the correct leads.
She has been started on ground driving and pick it up with great ease. Gypsy did really good. Not flentchy or bothered by lines or being behind her. She has never offered to kick or anything like that.
She is easy to get to "step up" when on the driving lines. She reins great either direction. She will back up when using a halter or bridle.... But I dont ask her to back when on the driving reins. I don't train my driving horses to back when pulling.
I did not have her saddled, But we did have her saddled with the bareback pad. She stood great for tack. She never mind or moved when cinched up. And moved out fine. As well she was easy to bridle with a "O" ring snaffle.
.....  I might add too.... I have worked with many draft horses throughout the years. Various breeds as well. And as far as drafts go. Gypsy is my 2nd all time favorite... Coming in right under my 3yr old.
Gypsy has a heart of gold and will make someone a really nice horse. Her manners are great. She loves attention. Most all the time when I am dealing with horses. Training and such it normally doesn't bother me when the owners pick them up. But Gypsy was a different storey. I actually had to hold back the tears on this one. She was a pleasure to work with.
